New STEM & Career Tech Facilities
A dedicated STEM lab building at Cullman High School and expanded Career Technical Education spaces are preparing students for tomorrow’s workforce today.
Intermediate School Redesign
A long-term plan is in progress to unify East and West Elementary campuses into a cohesive, developmentally aligned intermediate school experience.
Upgraded Athletic Facilities
Investments in updated turf, safety features, and infrastructure are underway—ensuring our students have the tools to succeed in both academics and athletics.

Amy Carter is a proud Cullman resident, dedicated wife, and mother to a student at Cullman High School. With a Bachelor of Science in Education from Samford University and a professional background as a Clinical Oncology Specialist, Amy brings both compassion and strategic insight to her role on the Cullman City Board of Education.
For the past five years—two of them as Board President—Amy has been a steady advocate for students, teachers, and families. Her deep love for children and unwavering belief in the power of education have shaped every decision she’s made in service to Cullman’s schools.
Amy believes that strong schools build strong communities. Her leadership is rooted in collaboration, thoughtful planning, and a clear vision for the future of Cullman City Schools.
